The conference will bring together leading experts and practitioners from CEFTA countries to discuss biofuel production and use in Southeastern Europe, focusing on the following issues:
- potential of biofuels to decrease European dependence on oil and natural gas and also help decrease emissions of greenhouse gases
- legislative framework in the EU and CEFTA countries
- sustainability of second generation biofuels
